Working with small shops has always been a huge pleasure. The people behind the brands are incredibly hard working, kind, and talented. I am grateful these amazing brands, whom I personally have shopped with many times before ever working with them, make my job easy by providing adorable clothing! A special thanks to the wonderful photographer, Stephanie Sunderland, for always being so easy to work with. She is obviously very talented and never fails to amaze me with the images she captures! But she is also genuine, funny, and beautiful.

Duchess and Lion Winter 2015 Collection

When scouting out the location for the Duchess and Lion winter collection, Liz and I wanted to find something that felt wintery (it was the end of Sept). We traveled high up Big Cottonwood Canyon, a canyon just near Salt Lake City, Utah. There are several ski resorts, cabin developments, etc and we hoped to find the "perfect" place. As fate would have it, we found it! An old ski lodge (still operating, during the ski season) with all of the vintage interior and exterior details we were hoping for (just didn't know it at the time!). When we stumbled across this lodge we just KNEW. It was perfect. Fast forward a few weeks, a chilly and foggy October morning set the perfect tone for our shoot.

The lovely and incredibly well made Zimmerman shoes were our collaborative accessory for this shoot! They are a personal favorite, I think my kids will get new pairs every season!

I will miss you forever, Utah mountains. You will always have my heart.

Nora's 18month Photos

A year and a half old, and suddenly she doesn't seem like a baby anymore. It was out of no where, she just sprang it on me! She is feisty, opinionated, affectionate, playful, silly, and wonderful. She hasn't gained a pound in 6months but has gotten taller- she has lost almost all of her baby fat and is just a tall string bean now.

Since moving to New York City in December, I have been looking out for a great photographer to use for our family photos and for our children's bi-annual photos. Thankfully, I was able to connect with the extremely sweet and talented Stephanie Sunderland. She was beyond gracious, helpful, and fast! There is something to be said about someone who shoots quickly with children. I was so happy to have found her and plan to use her again and again in the future. The weather in NYC winter is cold so we stuck to an indoor shoot in our little Upper West Side apartment.

As we round the corner to two I wonder what kind of little girl she will turn into. She has been one surprise after another and I just can't wait to see what she learns next. Having two kids so close together has its ups and downs but I do love how it highlights each of their differences and strengths. I love seeing how they both see the world so differently and how they make it their own.

Sadie Then Ty

Sadie Then Ty Fall 2015 collection. The bright and colorful clothing pieces were little rays of sunshine to work with. I was thrilled when I was asked to style for Sadie Then Ty. I loved keeping a simple and clean feeling while adding french and feminine touches throughout. So many beautiful pieces, but I have to admit the suspender skirts were my personal favorite. Thank you to all of our wonderful models and to the photographer, Liz Williams.

Garden Party Shoot

This photo shoot was a labor of love. Equal parts labor and love, in fact. There were hours and hours of preparation and styling, but it was all worth it.

hubble & duke photo shoot

Beautiful linen dresses by the Australian brand Hubble & Duke arrived for a simple and carefree outdoor mini-shoot. I wanted the girls to have a playful and wild feel about them. Plus, these dresses did all the work on their own, they are darling.
